SPFPP Episode 193: Dispelling Disabilities

Black, LGBTQIA, disadvantaged, wheelchair user and THERAPIST, Rollon Rebel joins us today to show us what couldn’t have been shown in my therapy sessions over the last year and 4-ish months we’ve worked together. Trigger warning because as Rollon shares, his less potentially triggering traumas, there is mention of childhood sexual assault. His own experiences have inspired him to help people in the ways he had needed help by being what he humbly phrases himself as, which is a damn good therapist.

I think there’s a better way of acknowledging Rollon here, and that’s MY therapist. Well, not anymore now that our sessions have ended and we did this podcast episode haha. We share a little inside look at our sessions while getting to know some of the realities of a therapist, including that it’s a good idea to have your own therapist as a therapist.
