A person can be going through something and because it may not look like you think it should, we could miss it entirely. Mental Wellness intersects at several socioeconomic factors such as race and sexuality. This episode only scratches the surface of what that looks like.

Priscilla María is a mental health writer and speaker. Her work has been featured on some of the internet’s most popular platforms such as TheMighty and Blavity. Apart from writing, she advocates on behalf of several organizations including: a local domestic violence shelter, The Confess Project and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
